What makes you a visionary in supervision?
I believe that what sets me apart as a visionary in supervision is my collaborative approach. I view supervision as a shared learning opportunity where both the supervisee and I can grow and develop. My goal is to create an environment where supervisees feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Those who work with me often describe me as approachable, honest, and kind. I strive to be compassionate and understanding, creating a safe space where supervisees can openly discuss their experiences and challenges. My knowledge in the field helps guide our discussions, and I always aim to infuse our interactions with plenty of humor to keep things light and engaging.
Ultimately, my vision for supervision is one where learning is dynamic, support is constant, and growth is a shared journey.
What is your favorite thing about providing clinical supervision?
My favorite thing about providing supervision is the opportunity to help someone develop both as a person and as a clinician. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and transformation of my supervisees over time. Being part of their journey, seeing them gain confidence, refine their skills, and evolve into competent and compassionate clinicians, is truly fulfilling. It’s a privilege to support and guide them through this process, and it reaffirms my passion for the work we do.
